The Cranes started in the Montreal area years ago.The three founding members were born and raised here. They are Rich Leduc on vocals, and brothers Cameron and Scott Stirling on guitar and drums. Mike Simpson, the final piece of the puzzle on bass, made his way to Montreal by way of Regina, Vancouver and LA.

Cranes fever is growing. The band, since 1999, have been entertaining fans far and wide, including gigs in Florida, as well as New York City to play in historic music venues such as Arlene’s Grocery and Kenny’s Castaway, and in Weir’s Beach, New Hampshire for the infamous Laconia Bike Week Festival.

The Cranes have rocked crowds for Canada Day festivals in and around the Montreal area over the years, and have played in fine establishments, and dives, all over Eastern Canada. In these shows… well, they start as shows, but really end up as parties, you can hear The Cranes share their original music from their 2 CD’s (self-titled (“the Red Album”) and From the Ground) as well as covers spanning the last 5 decades.
